The zucchini brucciu tart is fragrant, the ice cubes are clinking, and the rosé is chilling. It’s time to serve Tabula Rasa.

As the Summer 2025 issue of Art&Décoration magazine publishes more than ten pages on Villa Occhinello in Corsica, memories of this project come flooding back to me.

Kitchens in old gray oak and San Vicente stone countertops,
a “Tabula Rasa” beech dining table,
bathroom furniture made from old barn floors—so many creations symbolize an art of living that I celebrate every day.

Even though my Provençal roots are firmly anchored within me, it must be recognized that in Corsica, beauty is cultivated, nurtured, and experienced.
